Andrea Bocelli’s Beautiful Testimony of Life
A young Italian woman named Edi Bocelli, pregnant with her first child, was hospitalized with appendicitis. Because ice had been applied to her abdomen, her doctors advised her to abort her child because “the baby would be born with some disability.” The young brave mother refused, but the doctors were correct. Her son was born with congenital glaucoma and blind by age 12. His name, Andrea Bocelli.
"Anyone who is a parent, anyone who knows the precious responsibility of being a mother or a father, will fully grasp the meaning of this piece. ‘Fall On Me’ is the first time I have duetted with my son Matteo Bocelli".
"a memorial and a name"
Yad Vashem is Israel’s memorial for their 6,000,000 Holocaust victims.
The blessing of children is one of God's most precious and highest honors. Nevertheless, we have sacrificed 60,000,000 of our own children. Every little child that we lost was worth saving. Their life was no less valuable or meaningful than Andrea's life or his son Matteo's life.
What memorial could we ever build for our over 60,000,000 Choice victims? Jesus said:
“it is not the will of your Father who is in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 18:14
